Affiliate program
Commission amounts, the 45-day qualifying period, payout thresholds and the rules that void a referral.
Every Rivarise account, including Free, has an affiliate dashboard. You earn a fixed one-time commission for each paying customer you refer.
What you earn
| Plan they subscribe to | Your commission |
|---|---|
| Starter | $5 |
| Growth | $10 |
| Business | $25 |
| Agency | $50 |
This is paid once per referral, not monthly. It is a single fixed commission when a referral qualifies, not a recurring share of their subscription. Refer more customers to earn more.
The rules, exactly
- Attribution lasts 30 days. A referral counts when someone signs up through your link within that window and then subscribes to any paid plan.
- The amount is locked at subscription. If we change commission amounts later, your existing referrals keep what they started with.
- Commission is credited after 45 days. The referred customer must have been an active, paying subscriber for 45 continuous days. This covers refunds and early cancellations: if they cancel before day 45, nothing is earned.
- One payment per referral. The same customer never pays out twice.
- Self-referrals do not count. Referring your own organization, or accounts you control, is excluded.
Payouts
- Payouts are sent monthly to the payout email you set on the dashboard.
- There is a $25 minimum. Balances under $25 roll over to the next month; nothing is lost.
- Payouts are processed manually in the current version, so allow a few days after the monthly run.
- Set your payout email before you refer anyone. A commission with nowhere to go simply waits.
Your link and code
The dashboard shows your referral link and a referral code. Use the link wherever possible, since it sets attribution automatically. The code exists for contexts where a full URL is awkward.
What voids a referral
Commissions can be withheld or reversed for:
- Self-referrals and referrals of accounts you control.
- Fraud, spam, cookie stuffing or misleading claims about the product.
- Bidding on Rivarise brand terms in paid search.
- Referrals whose underlying payment is later refunded, charged back or reversed.
Disclosure
You are responsible for disclosing your affiliate relationship wherever you promote Rivarise, as required by the United States Federal Trade Commission endorsement guidelines, and for any tax on amounts you receive. Full terms are in section 14 of the Terms of Service.
